The ENS@T ACC, APA, NAPACA and Pheo databases are currently being made available through a unified, security-driven portal that allows targeted data upload and cross-database searching. The prototype of this is available at: http://venus.nesc.gla.ac.uk:18080/ensat/ although this will be moved in due course to a more stable and production-oriented server/URL. This work is currently being undertaken under the auspices of the European Science Foundation (www.esf.org) by the National e-Science Centre at the University of Glasgow (www.nesc.ac.uk). Information on how to access these data resources including acquiring the necessary privileges to access the resources is available in the first instance through contacting Prof. Richard Sinnott (r.sinnott@nesc.gla.ac.uk). In due course this information will be made available on the web site itself.
We expect that this work will be considerably augmented to become a complete Virtual Research Environment (VRE) for adrenal cancer research through a grant (ENS@T Cancer) that has recently been submitted to the European Union under the Framework 7 call.
